Where can I purcahse tickets for the world cup and the Confederations Cup?
Fifa’s website has information on the ticket cost for the Confederations Cup and the World Cup.
Confederations Cup
Tickets for the Confederations Cup went on sale on 22 November 2008, and are priced according to various categories. Category 4, the cheapest, is available only to South Africans, with prices ranging from R70 for a group match to R210 for the final.
If you’re in South Africa, they can also be bought at any First National Bank branches countrywide.

World Cup 2010
There have been 4 categories created for the sale of tickets for the 2010 World Cup with the average ticket price being $139.Category 4 tickets will be priced at $20 but are only available to the South African public. The maximum price that will be charged for a ticket is $900 for a category 1 ticket to the final.
